Carica Fuels SemiLink’s U.S. Semiconductor Growth

Forefront RF Gets £16M to Redefine Connectivity Solutions

Carica Sustainable Investments has announced a strategic investment of undisclosed value in SemiLink Materials, a division of Advanced Material Solutions (AMS), focusing on semiconductor material manufacturing.

The investment aims to bolster SemiLink’s role in the U.S. semiconductor supply chain. By leveraging advanced technologies, SemiLink plans to produce ultra-high purity semiconductor materials critical for chip fabrication. This move aligns with efforts to reduce reliance on foreign sources and streamline domestic supply chains.

Dave Keck, founder of Advanced Material Solutions, highlighted the importance of supporting U.S. semiconductor production capabilities amidst global industrial modernization. He expressed confidence in the investment’s ability to accelerate SemiLink’s growth trajectory and contribute to the resilience of the U.S. semiconductor industry.

Ham James, Managing Partner at Carica Sustainable Investments, echoed Keck’s sentiments, emphasizing the long-term vision behind the investment. He stated that the partnership with AMS and SemiLink aligns with Carica’s commitment to sustainable and impactful investments in cutting-edge technology sectors.

The investment is expected to create job opportunities in the Missoula, Montana region, supporting local economic growth and fostering technological innovation. SemiLink’s expansion plans include the recruitment of skilled professionals in various fields, including materials science, engineering, and manufacturing.

The CHIPS and Science Act of 2022 further reinforces this trend, incentivizing U.S. semiconductor production and research initiatives. The act aims to strengthen America’s semiconductor industry’s competitiveness in the global market while addressing critical supply chain vulnerabilities.

Global Power Partners facilitated the investment, marking a milestone in advancing America’s semiconductor industry.
