Staples will leverage RightHand Robotics’ RightPick system to automate operations, enhancing service levels and enabling Next-Day Delivery to over 98% of the U.S.
Staples, known for its advanced distribution and fulfillment network, views automation as crucial for the future of eCommerce picking. Amit Kalra, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Staples, stated, “After evaluating other solutions, the RightPick system met our high performance and reliability standards, picking items with different shapes, packaging, sizes, and weight.”
The RightPick system, an autonomous item-handling robot, integrates advanced hardware, sensor suite, and RightPick AI software for a versatile range of warehouse tasks. It excels in damage-free picking across diverse items, offering industry-leading performance, reliability, throughput, and safety. In collaboration with Staples, RightHand Robotics enhanced the system’s capabilities, nearly doubling the range of items handled while reducing interventions by 80%.
