The provider of tolling and enforcement solutions in the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) industry, Quarterhill Inc. (TSX: QTRH; OTCQX: QTRHF) expands its board of directors with the addition of Kim Stevenson. Quarterhill also appointed Andrew Parolin as the new CEO of Wi-LAN Inc, the wholly owned patent licencing business of the company.
Kim brings over three decades of experience as an IT, finance and operations executive. She also holds broad range of senior management and board of director roles at both private and public companies in the tech industry. Kim has also served as the CIO for Intel and COO of Intel’s IoT unit. Her last few roles were as Senior Vice President and General Manager at NetApp and Lenovo. She had also held other senior leadership roles at IBM, EDS, and HP, while has served on several public and private BoD including Cloudera, Riverbed Technology, Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc, Skyworks Solutions Inc and National Center for Women in IT.
In her current role, Kim serves on the Board of Directors for Ambiq Micro and Mitek Systems Inc and on advisory board of TruU.
On the other hand, Andrew has been with Wi-LAN for 15 years and a key member of the executive team during that time. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President, Licensing, responsible for the licensing of the company’s portfolio of wireless, wireline, digital television and other technologies.

Prior to this, Andrew worked at SiGe Semiconductor, a fabless semiconductor company, as its Director of Wireless Data Products.
