Inuitive Integrates VeriSilicon’s ISP IP for Enhanced Vision AI Processor in Robotics and AR/VR/MR

VeriSilicon Hits 100M Mark: NPU in Global AI Chips

In a significant development in the field of vision processing technology, VeriSilicon (688521.SH) has announced its collaboration with Inuitive, a prominent vision-on-chip processor company. The partnership sees Inuitive adopting VeriSilicon’s dual-channel Image Signal Processor (ISP) IP, renowned for its low latency and low power capabilities, to integrate into their widely-produced NU4100 vision AI processor. This strategic move is set to revolutionize the capabilities of robots, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), drones, and various other applications.

 

The NU4100 by Inuitive is a highly-integrated single-chip solution that incorporates top-tier 3D depth sensing, enhanced AI processing, and on-chip Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) capabilities. Its hallmark features include the ability to efficiently process vast amounts of data from multiple 4K resolution cameras while maintaining minimal latency and low power consumption. As a robust vision processor, it introduces an optimized embedded vision architecture, seamlessly integrating various computing blocks such as a computer vision engine and deep learning (CNN) processing.

 

VeriSilicon’s ISP contributes high-throughput processing capabilities, catering to a broad spectrum of applications for the NU4100 vision AI processor. It supports multiple cameras with multi-context management, High Dynamic Range (HDR), advanced noise reduction, and more, significantly elevating the overall performance of the vision processor.
