Secure-IC has recently integrated its Securyzr technology into MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chipset, a move seen as a significant step in enhancing security measures within the chipset.

Hassan Triqui, CEO of Secure-IC, expressed gratitude for being selected as MediaTek’s security solutions partner for the Dimensity 9300. “This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to securing digital environments,” Triqui stated. “We’re eager to contribute to maintaining the integrity and security of MediaTek’s SoCs.”

The integration of the Securyzr iSE 900 series, an embedded cybersecurity solution, aims to strengthen data protection and critical processes within the Dimensity 9300. This integration is intended to resist unauthorized access and maintain system integrity. Importantly, this enhancement prepares the MediaTek SoC for Common Criteria level 4+ (AVA_VAN.5) certification, supported by Secure-IC’s system-level certification assistance.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9300, introduced in November 2023, stands out in mobile computing for its advanced capabilities and performance features.

Dr. Yenchi Lee, Deputy General Manager of MediaTek’s Wireless Communications Business, highlighted the importance of integrating Secure-IC’s security technology into the Dimensity 9300. “The integration represents a significant stride forward in offering the best solutions to our customers,” Dr. Lee stated. “We aim to set new benchmarks in security and performance with the Dimensity 9300.”

Secure-IC’s dedication to innovative security solutions is evident in this collaboration. The Securyzr iSE 900 series serves as an advanced security layer, functioning as the Root of Trust (RoT) and offering Secure Processing capabilities within the Dimensity 9300.

As the Secure Enclave within the MediaTek Dimensity 9300, Securyzr iSE 900 ensures the security of critical operations across the device’s lifecycle. It oversees processes such as Secure Boot, Firmware Updates, and Key Management, safeguarding against potential disruptions like Cyber Physical Attacks. This continual oversight contributes to the system’s reliability and security.
