Intel has unveiled its most efficient x86 processors, the Intel Core Ultra 200V series, delivering groundbreaking performance, power efficiency, and advanced AI computing. These processors power more than 80 AI-driven PC designs from top manufacturers such as Acer, ASUS, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung. Available for pre-order today, these systems will be on shelves starting September 24.
The Core Ultra 200V series is optimized for AI and graphics, featuring up to 50% lower power consumption and up to 120 platform TOPS (tera operations per second) across CPU, GPU, and NPU. This includes the new fourth-generation neural processing unit (NPU) and Intel’s new Xe2 graphics microarchitecture, delivering up to 30% better mobile graphics performance.
Michelle Johnston Holthaus, Intel’s executive vice president and general manager of the Client Computing Group, emphasized the groundbreaking capabilities of these processors: “Intel’s newest Core Ultra processors set the industry standard for mobile AI and graphics performance, and smash misconceptions about x86 efficiency.”
These processors enable AI-enhanced experiences in content creation, security, productivity, and gaming, with features like automatic video editing, deep-fake detection, and improved gaming performance. They also come with built-in Intel Arc GPUs and Intel’s AI PC Acceleration Program, which powers over 300 AI-accelerated features.
Many of the designs will be part of Intel’s Evo Edition lineup, which emphasizes cooler, quieter performance, extended battery life, and built-in security. Intel Evo laptops are engineered to deliver top-tier mobile experiences, reducing lag and optimizing power efficiency.
With this release, Intel continues to push the boundaries of AI-driven computing, providing consumers with no-compromise performance, security, and innovative AI features that meet the demands of today’s mobile-centric world.
