Wireless semiconductor platform company InnoPhase IoT, Inc. unveils the expanded family of Talaria 6 SoCs. The family integrates multi-protocol wireless connectivity supporting Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, Thread, and Zigbee, while providing enhanced PSA Level 2 and Level 3 security and a high-performance ARM Cortex M33. Extending the low power leadership of the proven Talaria platform, these next-generation products offer robust performance, energy efficiency, enhanced security, Edge AI processing, and advanced connectivity for IoT devices.

Target markets include smart home, building automation, industrial IoT, and health/medical segments, and key applications span video cameras, doorbells, locks, thermostats, lighting, environmental and vibration sensors, appliances, health and medical devices, hubs/gateways, and Matter bridge routers.

“The diversity of consumer, commercial, and industrial IoT applications increasingly requires flexible Wi-Fi SoCs that can more effectively address the power, range, latency, reliability, throughput, and security requirements of a growing number of heterogeneous IoT devices,” said Andrew Zignani, Senior Research Director, ABI Research. “InnoPhase IoT’s combination of Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth and 802.15.4 on a single multi-protocol SoC can enable higher performance devices, streamline deployment and interoperability, create innovative new features, user experiences, and valuable new services, alongside reducing design complexity and time to market. Such solutions will be critical in enabling the installed base of connected devices to reach nearly 88 billion by 2028.”

The state-of-the-art connectivity solution for IoT devices, Talaria 6 is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) readiness, Talaria 6 delivers robust performance even in dense and noisy environments. Leveraging integrated digital CMOS radio technology, it offers energy-efficient, reliable connectivity for devices such as smart thermostats, video cameras, and environmental sensors. Its dual-band support (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) enhances range, throughput, and stability, allowing seamless operation in high-density settings.

Talaria 6 supports a wide range of protocols, including Bluetooth 6.0, Bluetooth Classic, Thread, and Zigbee mesh networks, ensuring smooth integration with existing and future IoT ecosystems. This interoperability makes it an ideal solution for diverse applications, ranging from wearables and smart home systems to localization and audio streaming devices. The device also features an integrated ARM Cortex-M33 MCU, providing the computational power needed for real-time Edge AI tasks like predictive maintenance, sensor analytics, and smart power management. This integration simplifies design, reduces system costs, and optimizes performance.

Security remains a top priority for Talaria 6, which boasts PSA Level 2/3 certification. Its robust security features include hardware-based encryption, secure boot, and tamper resistance, safeguarding sensitive data against cyber threats. These enhancements make it a trusted choice for mission-critical applications in industries such as healthcare, industrial IoT, and smart home environments. Furthermore, the device incorporates 802.11be extensions and Multi-Link Operations (MLO), which enhance throughput, reduce latency, and improve reliability. These capabilities cater to high-demand applications like video cameras, smart locks, and thermostats, especially in congested networks.

Talaria 6 accelerates IoT product development with a comprehensive SDK, integrated IDE, and proven hardware designs, all backed by global certifications. Its market-ready vertical stack solutions and extensive IoT partner ecosystem, including leading sensor, ISP, and MCU suppliers, enable rapid deployment and innovation.
