Pragyan, NIT Trichy’s annual international techno-managerial fest, is preparing for its 21st edition, centered around the theme ‘Panoptica: Break The Code.’ Recognized for its ISO 9001 and 20121 certifications, the fest continues to serve as a platform for students to engage in technical innovation, management, and intellectual discourse. Electronics Clap, a returning media partner, will provide coverage of the event.
The festival includes a range of competitions, workshops, and exhibitions. Ingenium, a national-level technical contest, encourages new ideas and creative problem-solving, while Sangam, a hardware hackathon, allows students to develop practical solutions to real-world challenges. The OpenHouse exhibition will showcase student projects from various tech clubs and departments, offering participants the opportunity to present their work to faculty, investors, and industry professionals.
Workshops at Pragyan 2025 will feature collaborations with companies like Linux, Samsung, and Mercedes, providing hands-on experience in emerging technologies. The fest will also host guest lectures by industry experts and thought leaders, offering insights into developments across various fields.
The Crossfire debate, a key event, will bring together political figures and experts to discuss current social and economic issues. Moderated discussions will aim to provide multiple perspectives on relevant topics.
In addition to its technical and managerial focus, Pragyan incorporates social responsibility initiatives, including Techids, which introduces younger students to technology through workshops conducted by NIT Trichy’s tech clubs. The Pragyan Blog and Pragyan Podcast further extend the event’s outreach by facilitating discussions on technology, management, and innovation.
The Infotainment segment will feature performances such as fire and light shows, aerial stunts, and cultural acts, adding an entertainment element to the festival.
