Stratasys Introduces High-Definition Printing to SAF Lineup, Upgrades H350 Printer

Stratasys (NASDAQ: SSYS) announces a significant enhancement to its additive manufacturing offerings with the introduction of High-Definition Printing capabilities to its SAF technology. The company also unveils the H350 Version 1.5 (V.1.5) printer, aimed at broadening the adoption of SAF across various manufacturing sectors.

 

The addition of High-Definition Printing brings a new level of precision and detail to Stratasys’ SAF technology, offering manufacturers in aerospace, automotive, and healthcare industries improved resolution and intricate part designs. This advancement is made possible by the SAF thermal control system.

 

Adam Ellis, Corporate Applications Manager at Stratasys, comments, “High-definition printing enables tighter tolerances, moving assemblies, and a new range of applications for SAF customers. Bringing HighDef to our customers will help us expand and improve their capabilities and increase their adoption of 3D printing in manufacturing roles.”

 

The new High-Definition Printing capabilities seamlessly integrate into existing H350 models through a firmware update, ensuring backward compatibility and providing customers with enhanced capabilities at no additional cost.

 

In addition to High-Definition Printing, Stratasys unveils the H350 V1.5 printer, featuring improved sensors and remote service capabilities. Torben Lange, Vice President of SAF Research & Development at Stratasys, highlights the upgrades’ alignment with customer needs: “The new capabilities and the upgraded H350 align with the performance needs that our customers indicated to us, allowing them to further benefit from additive manufacturing and SAF technology in particular.”
