Sharp NEC Display Solutions of America (SNDSA) and Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) have introduced two new PA Series Installation Projectors, the PA1505UL and PA1705UL. These projectors, featuring LCD imaging technology, are tailored for higher education classrooms, corporate conference rooms, museums, and houses of worship, offering large format display quality, color, and brightness.

Equipped with advanced filter/maintenance-free technology and an IP5X-rated LCD cooling system, the projectors prevent dust from affecting image quality. The IP5X system maintains detailed images with optimal color accuracy. The PA1505UL and PA1705UL are capable of showcasing stunning 4K 60P content using NEC’s Cinema Quality Video, ensuring critical details are preserved. Their dual blue laser systems offer enduring white balance and inorganic optical components, contributing to extended unit lifetimes.

The projectors are available in black or white cabinets to suit various installation needs. Notably, the PA series offers built-in stacking correction functionality for up to four projectors, enabling a total brightness of 68,000 lumens, which proves advantageous for larger screens and environments with strong ambient lighting.

Richard McPherson, Senior Product Manager for Sharp NEC Display Solutions of America, Inc., stated, “The new PA Series installation projectors deliver stunning images that bring presentations to life no matter the ambient lighting conditions.”

Sharp/NEC’s PA1505UL and PA1705UL installation projectors also come with advanced installation features, including multiple digital inputs (Dual HDMI, HDBaseT, and HDBaseT repeater) and seven motorized lenses with substantial lens shift capabilities. Additional functionalities such as Edge Blending, Stacking, and Geometric Correction are integrated into the ProAssist software. The projectors support 360° roll-free applications and offer simplified installations through the Customer Command learning capabilities.

As per the norm for Sharp/NEC’s laser projectors, the PA1505UL and PA1705UL are backed by a comprehensive 5-year warranty, inclusive of InstaCare, the company’s replacement program.
