Knowles Corporation, a global supplier of high-performance components, has collaborated with consumer audio brand JLab to introduce the Epic Lab Edition true wireless earbuds, aiming to revolutionize the audio experience for users.
The collaboration incorporates Knowles’ RAN balanced armature (BA) drivers into the earbuds, combining crisp treble frequencies with dynamic drivers for rich bass, delivering a well-balanced and crystal-clear sound. The Epic Lab Edition is the first True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphone featuring the Knowles Preferred Listening Response Curve, ensuring an optimal music listening experience. Users can customize their earbud settings through the JLab App, tailoring their audio experience.
“Knowles’ approach to sound made the collaboration a no-brainer,” said Win Cramer, JLab CEO. “Pairing our technology with Knowles BAs creates an unrivaled sound experience for the listener.”
The earbuds, available on JLab’s website and Amazon, boast Smart active noise cancellation, Hi-Res Audio via LDAC or AAC advanced codecs, and Bluetooth LE Audio for low latency and pristine audio quality. With a 13-hour battery life per earbud and more than 56 hours of total playtime, the Epic Lab Edition promises an immersive and enduring audio experience.
Knowles’ President of MedTech and Specialty Audio, Jon Kiachian, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing Knowles’ commitment to delivering exceptional audio engineering.
