TDS Plans A Series Of Alteration In Finance Leadership

Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TDS) planned a series of alterations in finance leadership, expected to take place through May 2022. Peter L. Sereda plans to retire in May 2022. He currently works as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TDS. He will be replaced by  Vicki L. Villacrez, currently Senior Vice-President- Finance and Chief Financial Officer of TDS Telecom, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TDS. Michelle M. Brukwicki, current Vice President- Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning at TDS will be appointed in place of Vicki L. Villacrez.

 

Villacrez worked for three decades with this company. She joined in 1989 as an internal auditor. In May 2012 she was named Vice President-Finance and CFO at TDS Telecom and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2017. She works with several stakeholders, including the TDS Board of Directors, Audit Committee, investors, buy and sell analysts, news/industry reporters, and rating agencies. Before holding her current role she experienced multiple leadership positions. She pockets a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration.  She is also a certified public accountant.

Michelle Brukwicki brings an exceptional background in strategic planning, analysis, and accounting to her new role leading the finance organization at TDS Telecom, and I am confident she will excel in her new position.”

 

Michelle Brukwicki joined TDS in 2007. Before 2017 she served the company as Director of Accounting. She also played increasingly responsible management roles within the organization in accounting and financial reporting, cash accounting, and accounting policy. Michelle became Vice President-financial Analysis and Strategic Planning in 2017. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
