Sensata Technologies Holding plc, a leading provider of sensor solutions and industrial technology, has announced the appointment of Jugal Vijayvargiya to its Board of Directors. With over three decades of experience in the industry, Jugal brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company’s leadership team.
Effective from June 22, 2023, Jugal will serve as a director on Sensata’s Board of Directors. In addition, he will also join the Compensation Committee and the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future.
Prior to joining Sensata, Jugal served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Materion Corporation, a global leader in advanced materials solutions for various high-performance industries. During his tenure at Materion since 2017, Jugal demonstrated exceptional leadership in guiding the company’s strategic growth in the semiconductor, industrial, aerospace & defense, energy, and automotive sectors.
Before his role at Materion, Jugal Jugal had an illustrious career at Delphi Automotive Corporation, a prominent global technology solutions provider for the automotive and transportation sectors. There, he held key positions, including leading Delphi’s Electronics & Safety segment, serving as an officer, and being a member of the Executive Committee.
Jugal is an alumnus of The Ohio State University, where he earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in electrical engineering. His strong academic background combined with his extensive experience in the industrial technology field makes him a valuable addition to Sensata’s Board of Directors.
