Samsung Electronics officially named DX (Device eXperience) Division to its newly merged SET Division. The name reflects its ongoing commitment to creating new and meaningful experiences for its customers.
Jong-Hee-Han will head the DX Division as Vice Chairman and CEO. It will include Visual Display Business, Digital Appliances Business, Health and Medical Equipment Business, MX Business, and Networks Business.
The name itself reflects the company’s longer-term future-oriented business structure and stronger global leadership. The company will focus on providing leading experiences for customers to meet the need of users as well as a wide range of products – from TVs and appliances to smartphones and network equipment. Taking it forward, the company under the DX Division expects to strengthen synergies among the diverse businesses and create differentiated products and services.
