In a recent development, Arm Holdings plc (Nasdaq: ARM) has named Ami Badani as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective immediately. Badani, formerly the Vice President of Marketing and Developer Products at NVIDIA, will oversee the global marketing organization at Arm and report directly to Arm’s CEO, Rene Haas.
Ami Badani brings a wealth of experience to Arm, having played a crucial role at NVIDIA where she was responsible for fostering the developer ecosystem for Data Processing Units (DPUs), steering the data strategy for Generative AI, and spearheading product and technical marketing initiatives for the data center portfolio. Her tenure at NVIDIA marked a significant contribution to the company’s growth, particularly in the data center segment.
Commenting on her appointment, Badani acknowledged the pivotal role Arm plays in the technology landscape, stating, “Arm is foundational to the world’s most advanced technology companies and is at the forefront of the semiconductor industry’s transition to AI.” She expressed enthusiasm about joining Arm at a time when the company is deeply involved in shaping the future of computing.

Badani’s professional background includes her role as Chief Marketing Officer at Cumulus Networks before its acquisition by NVIDIA in 2020. She has also held leadership positions in marketing and product management at various technology companies, including Cisco Systems. Prior to her engagement in the tech industry, Badani worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan.
Badani holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in business from the University of Southern California. Her multifaceted experience in technology marketing, product management, strategy, and investment is expected to contribute to Arm’s ongoing efforts to advance its compute platform.
