The authorized global distributor of electronic components and industrial automation products, Mouser Electronics appoints Eric Wendt as its VP of supplier management. In his new role, Eric will oversee the company’s large group of suppliers across the passive and industrial automation product categories.
Eric brings extensive experience in the IP&E and Industrial Automation arena. Before this, he managed several passive product lines at DigiKey before creating the Industrial Automation business unit. In his past efforts, he founded a highly successful contract manufacturing company specializing in wire harnesses and control panels, as well as running one of the most profitable branches for the former Kent Electronics. His first experience was in the technical arena starting and managing a business that specialized in quick-turn computer repair.

Eric will report directly to Newell and oversee Mouser’s growing line card of manufacturers in the product categories of industrial automation and passive components.
