According to Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, nearly 20% of the global semiconductor industry’s engineers are from India, further adding that the government has decided to start a C2S (Chips to Startup) program to create a talent pool of 85,000 high-quality, highly qualified, well-trained engineers.
