Google Pixel Watch Might Use Exynos W920 Chip

Google Pixel watch

In Google I/O conference this year, the company confirmed the coming up of the much awaited Pixel watch in the next couple of months. According to GSM Arena source, the watch will use Exynos 9110 SoC chipset. It is a 2018 chipset based on a 10nm manufacturing process with two Cortex-A53 cores. Previously it was hypothesized that the Exynos W920 would be used as the chipset in the watch as being used in the Galaxy watch 4.

The watch was supposed to be launched in 2021, but due to the chip shortage it could not make the announcement.  Since the company has been working on the Pixel watch for years, its development will be based on older chip, as per the same source.

The Pixel Watch will come with Fitbit integration which includes the features of health-centric, first in Google’s Android smartwatch.  Pixel Watch will be launched alongside the Pixel 7 and the Pixel Pro later this year.
