GMAC Intelligence Joins Forces with BrainChip for Next-Gen Quick-Service Restaurant Automation

handshake

In a significant move towards transforming the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry, AI/ML software company GMAC Intelligence has joined forces with BrainChip Holdings Ltd, the world’s first commercial producer of ultra-low power, fully digital, event-based, neuromorphic AI IP. This partnership aims to propel the development of innovative solutions for QSRs, particularly with GMAC Intelligence’s groundbreaking drive-through automation system, QSRBot 247.

GMAC Intelligence’s QSRBot 247 aims to revolutionize the fast-food ordering experience by implementing a fully automated system that utilizes vision and voice technology. The solution offers a more human and intuitive interface, accurately taking orders, managing payment seamlessly and automatically, and even identifying loyal customers to personalize their experience and enhance satisfaction.

As part of the partnership, GMAC Intelligence will work with BrainChip to validate and enhance the building blocks of efficient facial, vehicular, and voice recognition specifically for next-generation QSR applications. This will be achieved through the implementation of BrainChip’s cutting-edge Akida technology, a fully digital neuromorphic AI neural processor.

BrainChip’s Akida technology provides a scalable architecture and small footprint, enabling substantial efficiency improvements. With greater AI performance at the Edge, independent of cloud connectivity, the partnership aims to support the growth of the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) market, which is projected to exceed a trillion dollars by 2030.

Amit Mate, Founder & CEO of GMAC Intelligence, expressed the company’s commitment to revolutionizing the QSR industry with their QSRBot 247 solution. Mate stated, “In partnering with BrainChip, we are establishing a pathway to deploying Akida-based solutions that incorporate added device security and privacy while utilizing very low power in a small footprint to expand the capabilities of our technology.”

Rob Telson, Vice President of Ecosystems & Partnerships at BrainChip, emphasized the importance of collaborating with forward-thinking technology companies like GMAC Intelligence. Telson noted that GMAC Intelligence’s QSRBot 247 has the potential to shape the future of efficiency and accuracy in the QSR sector. As GMAC Intelligence continues to evolve their applications, BrainChip’s Akida technology will be positioned to support their growth and advancement.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in the QSR industry, with GMAC Intelligence and BrainChip combining their expertise to drive innovation and deliver intelligent solutions that enhance the customer experience while improving operational efficiency in quick-service restaurants.
