Ex-Micron SVP DRAM, Brian Shirley Joins Advanced Energy Board of Directors

Post retiring from Micron Technology as its senior vice president DRAM and Emerging Memory Engineering in December 2019, Brian Shirley has joined Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: AEIS) Board of Directors. Brain brings decades of experience in semiconductor product technologies and an extensive track record of advancing innovation and global growth.

Brian joined Micron in 1988 as a product engineer and in his due course of journey with the organisation, he held positions of increasing responsibility across product design, engineering and business unit management. He is listed as an investor on 82 US patents and helped drive Micron’s expansion into specialised memory for servers, mobile and networking solutions, in addition to maintaining a focus on cost leadership and power reduction. After retiring from Micron, Brian has consulted for various US government departments, advising on the semiconductor geopolitical landscape, supply chain resilience and national security.
