Accenture (NYSE: CAN) completes the acquisition of Ottawa-headquartered silicon design service provider, XtremeEDA. Accenture announced its intent to acquire XtremeEDA on June 27, 2022.
The financial terms of the deal is not disclosed. As a result of the acquisition, nearly 40 experienced engineers and practitioners working across industries including software and platform, telecommunications, consumer products, avionics and defense will become a part of Accenture Cloud First.
XtremeEDA offers semiconductor engineering services for clients across North America who seek custom silicon solutions used in consumer devices, cloud data centers, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) computational platforms to enable edge AI deployment.
