Vijay sent congratulations to the company for taking initiatives to manufacture semiconductor chips in the country. However, he requested the chairman to have the unit in or near Jamshedpur, which will help lead to more all-round development of the region. Vijay said that the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) has already been identified for such industrial activities in Adityapur, Jamshedpur.

A copy of this letter has also been sent to the Chief Minister of the state, Hemant Soren, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Industries Secretary Pooja Singhal, Kolhan Commissioner Manoj Kumar, and JIADA area director Prem Ranjan.
