VSC HealthFi and Infineon Technologies join forces to enhance data security for wearables and IoT devices through advanced encryption solutions.
Vyvo Smart Chain (VSC), the creator of the HealthFi ecosystem, has announced a strategic collaboration with global semiconductor leader Infineon Technologies. The partnership aims to enhance the security features of wearables and IoT devices within the VSC HealthFi Ecosystem.
Infineon’s OPTIGA Trust M, known for its tamper-resistant hardware and Common Criteria EAL6+ certification, will be instrumental in fortifying the security framework of connected devices within the VSC HealthFi network. The OPTIGA Trust M solution offers proprietary Proof of Sensing (PoSe) chips with embedded data authentication and built-in protection, alongside tamper-resistant Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) for secured storage and encryption.
Fabio Galdi, Co-Founder and CEO of VSC, expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “IoT’s integration with blockchain is inevitable, and we’re pleased to play a leading role in that evolution with our VSC HealthFi ecosystem. This partnership with Infineon further underscores VSC’s commitment to ensuring the security and protection of user health data, while also encouraging positive and healthy lifestyle choices through data monetization.”
Vijayaraghavan Narayanan of Infineon also commented, saying, “As more devices connect to the internet, the threat landscape expands. Collaborating with VSC, a team proactive in anticipating and mitigating potential risks, aligns with our commitment to securing the connected world. We’re eager to support VSC’s unique offering of enabling users to earn from their health data with our best-in-class data security and encryption.”
This collaboration represents a significant step in prioritizing user data privacy and security within the VSC HealthFi Ecosystem, setting a new standard for blockchain-integrated IoT solutions.
